![]() If anyone in this support community knows whether QuickBooks 2016 either does now or will "soon" be compatible with OSX10.11.1 and/or knows a work-around to make QuickBooks 2012 work with OSX 10.11.1, I and a lot of other small business people will be grateful. Towrds the end of the day Crash Catcher came up and halted all Quickbook activity. Now, QuickBooks will check if there is any available update for Mac or not. I was working on Quickbooks 2020 yesterday all day. Tap on the Help option present at the top right corner. ![]() Yet a few posts on this site and elsewhere on the web claim that QuickBooks 2016 is NOT compatible with El Capitan in any of its incarnations (however it does work on my MacBook Air with OSX 10.11 and did work on my iMac with OSX 10.11, until I upgraded to 10.11.1) and that Intuit isn't bothering to fix that problem. So, here are the steps you need to follow to download the latest QuickBooks version for Mac. Crash catcher won't even create an email with the crash report to send to Intuit.
